Why people don’t complete application forms
If you have watched any of the YouTube videos or read the emails and posts
You will often see me talking about application forms ?
With the set up being…
Facebook Ad -> Landing Page -> Application form
Applications forms can be key to your whole system if you don’t want to call as many leads or you make it a prerequisite before you call them
So before we go any further, make sure you have a valid reason for wanting to run with application forms ?
The people who don’t want to phone a ton of leads would usually go
Facebook Ad -> landing collecting their name & email only -> Application form
This way you are only phoning people who have completed the application
Giving you potentially a better lead, as they will have an idea of the price
Others would use it as a way to get more details about the lead before they come in for a consultation ?
Now let’s take a typical prospect
They are on the train when they see your advert, they click the link, land on the landing page and enter their name, email and phone
They then get pushed to the application form
The form has like 10 questions, some of them are asking for big answers
The train is busy, it’s loud, they just aren’t in the right frame of mind to complete it ?
This is why I would say roughly 2 out of 10 leads would complete the application form right away
As the form does take time to complete
Other reason people may not complete it is due to the questions being asked, and the price on the form
If you are a higher ticket fitness business, then the price would put a lot of people off as they have only just come across you
This is why once they come a lead, we get an email follow up in place that pushes them back to the application form for the next 5-7 days
These emails are designed to build trust, deliver value and have the CTA to come and complete the application form ?
So don’t think it’s the end of the world if the forms don’t get completed right away
Just keep chasing those leads and make the sales
