I was having a good chat with a possible new Facebook Ads Clients today who is struggling to generate leads
One of the topics we got onto was the Images and Videos used in the ads
This is like 50% of the way to getting the prospect to click the link
Facebook Ads is 100% interruptive marketing
The aim is to stop people in their scrolling track and click your advert

They were running ads for their over 30’s mum only programme
I loved everything they where trying to achieve
The programme sounded amazing, the support, the community, the results
But the one thing that was letting them down
Was the picture in the Facebook Advert
It was a picture of a super ripped woman doing an overhead squat in super tiny clothes
Now there is nothing wrong with that picture if you are trying to attract that type of client
But these people weren’t, they wanted MUM’s
MUM’s with weight to lose
Who have mum tums, mum issues & goals
The image just wasn’t talking to them
The images was painting the wrong picture
