Sat on the sofa last night, I spot this question in the UKPTs Facebook Group:
I’m toying with the idea of hiring someone to manage my social media accounts for my personal training studio
Just wanted to get some opinions?
1) do you think this is worth doing?
2) who would you recommend?
My reply has so far got me 12 likes & 8 comments ?
The way I reply to these types of questions is a little different to other that reply, and it’s definitely something you should consider
I go in with VALUE, with ACTIONS, with SIMPLE STEPS that they can try it themselves
We do this all the time for DKnine Fitness too
✅ We provide value
✅ We build trust
✅ We start a relationship
Then & ONLY THEN, we move in for the sale
ANYWAY….. Here is my response ?
Having someone outside your company run your social media account isn’t always the way forward.
The 2 reasons people usually get an outside company to do this is either:
1: you have no time to do it yourself
2: or you have no idea what you are doing
Exactly the same for when people come to us to run their Facebook Ads.
If you have a team get them to follow a social media calendar similar to this. Each day posting an image or video to go with the text….
✍️ Monday: “Client Spotlight” Talking about their results, how far they have come and making it a very motivational post
✍️ Tuesday: “Tasty Tuesday” Grab a recipe from your database or one online and post it up. If it’s a specific time of year say Halloween, then match the recipe to that.
✍️ Wednesday: “Workout Wednesday” We do live workout, but you could easily do pre-recorded ones or even a picture and the list of exercise, set & reps. Again if you can theme it, theme it!
✍️ Thursday: “Top Tip Thursday” Exactly that. Maybe a
> 5 … you didn’t know
> 5 … that will help you tone your bum
✍️ Friday: “End Of Week Shout Outs” Give a shout out to clients that have done well, client results, all the picture you have taken through the week, and not to forget to tag your clients in the pictures.
With any Post, Email, Facebook Ad, or actually anything you do for your business when it comes to marketing. The biggest thing is having a meaning to the post, including a CTA that tells them how to learn more or what to do next. Such as…
