Today I wanted to talk more about your fitness business that works without you
I know we are still in lockdown and you may be still cutting corners to reduce your outgoings
But if we had decided to reduce staff hours here at DKnine Fitness then we wouldn’t have been able to create this wood feature wall and paint the whole studio
As I would have had to have done it all myself and I just don’t have the time
So what we have done, is laid out the jobs, had a staff member in for a few hours each day to crack on with the tasks
As we wanted to give the whole place a facelift, get it super clean and a fresh look ready for when we can re-open
So when we do and the clients walk in, they can see and feel excited about coming back
But you don’t have to go all out and get a full-time staff member to start
Take your online 121 programmes, if you are charging say £97 a month, then could you work on a commission basis and give a staff member £30 per clients to look after for you?
Reliving you of the hours it takes to look after a certain number of clients
That way, the more clients you or they can bring in, the more money they are going to make and yourself
If a commission isn’t the route for you, then start with a certain number of hours a day or per week
Giving them the tasks that take up so much of your time
For example, if you are the best at servicing clients and looking after them
Then give them the tasks that don’t make you the money such as social media or chasing clients
Wich will relive more of your time
If you are wanting to free up your time to do the things that you want, then there is no better solution then bringing on a team member
And now is the perfect time for you
Getting them involved, getting them learning the business, the brand ready for when you do re-open
Giving them a head start
Rather than getting them right in when you don’t have the time to coach them correctly in your ways
