Today as it’s Top Tips Tuesday, I want to go over 5 Things You Need To Do When Chasing Leads ?
After all, each lead if you are running ads is costing you money
If each lead costs you £5, then you need to be making the most of the £5 you have spent to generate that lead
So here are 5 things we NEED to be doing when a new lead lands in your inbox ?
1) Sending out a Thank You email
This one is super key, to let the lead know you have got their details and will be in contact shortly to give them more information
We also need to include a little more about what happens next, a little about the programme and if it’s a low end programme, then potentially a purchase button
This email should really be sent automatically within minutes of them requesting that information
2) Next, we have a MINIMUM of 3 phone calls
The reason for this is simple, not everyone will answer to a number they don’t know and many more are very likely to be busy when you first call
Which means we need to keep track of when we call and try and call at different times of the day
Remember this lead has cost you MONEY, it would be silly to just give up after the first call
3) if they don’t answer, then we send a TEXT message
On the first attempt, letting them know who you are and why you called them
The second text is more of a, you may have missed my last call so I tried again
And the final one being more along the lines of this is the last time I am going to call
Remember some people prefer texting to speaking on the phone
4) Next, we have one that many people never do

5) Finally, we have another one that not many of us will have considered
Reaching out to them on Facebook
If you are running ads on Facebook, then they will have seen your advert on Facebook and should be easy enough to track down
Now this one comes down to the type of person you are
But simply dropping them a message to say you received their request for more information is a great way to build trust with a prospect without having to call them
